NRL Multi Bet of the Weekend

Two rounds in, and the NRL 2024 is giving us an idea of who’s in-form and who’s not. This weekend, NRL betting sites are offering brilliant odds for punters to take advantage of with a well-placed multi bet. Here’s how backing the Panthers, Warriors and Storm can net you a more than 14x return!

Penrith Panthers vs. Brisbane Broncos

March 21st, 20:00 AEDT, BlueBet Stadium, Penrith

What a clash to kick off round three of the NRL. It’s a repeat of last year’s final, and a clash between the top two favourites to take out this year’s title at most betting sites.

Bookmaker bet365 is offering odds of 2.90 for Penrith to win this clash by 1-12 points, and we say this is a fantastic leg to open this weekend’s multi bet with. The Panthers have won six of the last seven matches against the Broncos, including their last two. In fact, the only win Brisbane have landed in this fixture since 2016 was by one point, this time last year.

Both sides are 1-1 this year and come into this clash off the back of wins in round two. Playing at home and having looked much better against the Eels last weekend, we say Penrith will get across the line in a tight one here.

New Zealand Warriors vs. Canberra Raiders

March 22nd, 18:00 AEDT, Apollo Projects Stadium, Christchurch

The Warriors fell victim to a last-gasp try against the Storm last weekend which saw them slip to 0-2 for the season. Hosting the Canberra Raiders in New Zealand on Friday night, expect them to notch their first win of the year. The Kiwis have won three of their last four games against Canberra, including the most recent clash late last season. However, two of these were by just a solitary point, so just back the Warriors to win outright in this leg.

Newcastle Knights vs. Melbourne Storm

March 24th, 18:15 AEDT, McDonald Jones Stadium, Newcastle

Rounding out round three, the Knights host Melbourne in Newcastle. It’s been a tough start to the year for the home side, who are 0-2 after a one-point loss to the Cowboys last week. For the Storm, however, they’ve been motoring along, winning both their matches so far.
Up until their most recent meeting, Melbourne had defeated Newcastle 11 times in a row. The Knights broke that hoodoo in 2023, but considering their two clashes before that were 50-2 and 48-4, expect the Storm to win big here.
