Who will win the infamous green jacket in 2024?

Golf remains a sport dripping in history and tradition and arguably the most prestigious golfing event on the global calendar is The Masters. 

Held at the pristine Augusta National Club in Georgia, the Masters holds the golfing world in the palm of its hands each April and the 2024 edition promises to be compelling viewing for both punters and international betting sites.

In his first major since joining LIV, Rahm will be out to prove a point and with a Green Jacket to defend, he could be one of the front runners again at Augusta. 
 
Sensational Scottie 

For all the talk surrounding the PGA Tour and LIV Golf, many punters and betting sites would be forgiven for slightly overlooking Scottie Scheffler for Masters glory in 2024. 
 
However, that approach would not be wise, as the world number one is very much back to his best this year, having already bagged two tournaments on the PGA Tour. 
 
Scheffler won the Green Jacket at Augusta back in 2022 and his playing style looks to be tailor made for conditions here, making him another huge candidate for Masters glory.

Winning a Masters is seen as the pinnacle for many players and there seems to be no tried and tested formula for those chasing a Green Jacket. 
 
Some of the most exciting players on the planet will be lining up at Augusta this weekend, with the likes of Viktor Hovland, Sam Burns and Ludvig Aberg chasing their breakthrough major wins. 
 
Whilst older heads such as Brooks Koepka, Rory McIlroy and Hideki Matsuyama all have major titles in the bag, and they will feel they can challenge hard for another here. 

The Masters at Augusta always invokes a special emotion amongst golfing fans, punters and players, and the 2024 edition of the tournament promises to be no different.
