NBA Tips and Multi bet of the Weekend| November 10-12

The 2023/24 NBA season is really starting to take shape and there are plenty of superb games for punters and Aussie bookmakers to get involved with this weekend, as the first ever edition of the NBA in-season tournament kicks off.

Catching the eye this weekend is the Detroit Pistons playing host to the Philadelphia 76ers, a derby of sorts between the Boston Celtics and the Brooklyn Nets, whilst the heavyweight showdown between the Phoenix Suns and the LA Lakers promises to be an absolute classic.

Detroit Pistons vs Philadelphia 76ers

12th November 2023, 17.00 – Little Ceasars Arena, Detroit

The opening game of the NBA in-season tournament pits the Detroit Pistons against the Philadelphia 76ers, in an intriguing battle in Michigan.

In a tough looking East Group A, both the 76ers and the Pistons will be eager to get off to a fast start, with many of the best betting sites beginning to look at other sides in the group such as the Indiana Pacers, Cleveland Cavaliers and the Atlanta Hawks as potentially having the credentials to qualify.

A bright start to the season for the Pistons has been firmly quashed, with 5 subsequent defeats putting them under huge pressure in 14th place in the Eastern Conference. A polar opposite tale can be told for the Philadelphia 76ers, who lost their opening game but have won their last 5 to sit pretty in 2nd place in the table.

This should be a very good watch but the Philadelphia 76ers are in good nick and they should prevail here.

Best Bet: Philadelphia 76ers to win the match @ $1.65 (PlayUp)

Boston Celtics vs Brooklyn Nets

12th November 2023, 18.30 – TD Garden, Boston

Getting off to a fast start will also be on the agenda in East Group C for the Celtics and the Nets, who are two of the most fancied sides to progress with many basketball betting apps

The Chicago Bulls, Orlando Magic and Toronto Raptors may have plenty to say about that come the end of the in-season tournament but for the Boston Celtics in particular, this tournament will feel within their grasp.

Sitting pretty at the top of the Eastern Conference and with some big wins under their belt, the Celtics will be believing that they can challenge for silverware again this year.

The Brooklyn Nets meanwhile are hoping to make things click, following an inconsistent start to the season, winning 3 and losing 4 of their opening 7 fixtures.

This should be a good one for the neutral, with points guaranteed and it could go to the wire at the TD Garden.

Best Bet: Over 224.5 points in the match @ $1.95 (GetSetBet)

Phoenix Suns vs Los Angeles Lakers

12th November 2023, 22.00 – Footprint Center, Phoenix

Two sides that will be doing all they can to taste glory in the in-season tournament from the Western Conference do battle in Arizona, as the Phoenix Suns welcome the Los Angeles Lakers.

The Suns haven’t shined as much this year as they have in the previous couple but they still possess plenty of big name players, capable of producing remarkable performances at the drop of a hat.

Meanwhile, no NBA team gets the same scrutiny with international betting sites that the LA Lakers do and their relative struggles in 2023 have caught the attention of even the most casual NBA fan.

Both sides possess similar records this term and they will both see this tournament as a chance to register some silverware.

This should be another highly entertaining game and whilst the Phoenix Suns are an excellent side, the LA Lakers may perhaps have too much quality in key areas on the day.

Best Bet: LA Lakers to win the match @ $1.90 (BlueBet).
