The likes of Brave Strike may pose a threat but if Barney’s World gets a run here, he looks as if he will be very difficult to stop, an opinion shared by many punters and Aussie bookmakers.

Having been backed by us to do the business last week at Ascot, only to be pipped on the line, there is a feeling that Laced Up Heels may be finally ready to win here.

Transitioning to 1400m will be a slightly taller order but Laced Up Heels will certainly enjoy the going at Ascot and his hard to go against in the Sheila Gwynne Stakes.
