Flemington hosts stellar 8-race card on Sunday.

Flemington is holding big races on a seemingly daily basis at this time of the year and there is plenty for punters to get behind with their 8-race card on Sunday 24th September.

Trials for the Oaks and the Derby catch the eye, with some excellent battles and MyBettingAustralia has the latest insight from Flemington on Sunday.

Race 5: Served Cold

The Kennedy Oaks trial in race 5 sees plenty of exciting talents in the Australian horse racing world do battle, as punters and Aussie bookmakers look to get a read on some of the key horses of the future.

With so many youthful horses in the field it can be hard to pick out the one with strongest claims but Served Cold is a horse from serious stock, who could go well here.

Winning last time out over the same distance is a serious tick in the box and with Blake Shinn on board, a good ride is practically guaranteed, making Served Cold the hot favourite in this one.

Tip: Served Cold to win the race @ $2.20 (TopSport).

Race 6: Apulia

A similar story can be told in race 6, with the Derby Trial hosting some more youthful and exciting prospects.

The pick of the bunch looks to be Apulia, a 3-year-old that has placed in all but one of its 5 starts and looks to have pace to burn.

Competition will come from the likes of Gold Bullion and FistsofFury but Apulia is a shrewd operator that could come out on top in this one.

Tip: Apulia to win the race @ $2.90 (GetSetBet).

Race 8: Wishlor Lass

The final race at Flemington sees a horse that has often responded for punters and Victorian bookmakers alike, as Wishlor Lass heads up the betting.

Beginning its career with 3 straight wins, Wishlor Lass has long been tipped for big things but has struggled a little bit in recent times to replicate that form.

However, it is still running off a realistic mark and in a field with plenty of horses who have strong claims, Wishlor Lass certainly looks to be the pick of the bunch.

Tip: Wishlor Lass to win the race @ $3.60 (Bet365).
