Caulfield takes centre stage on 14/10/23 with strong 10-race card.

With no less than three Group 1 contests at Caulfield on Saturday 14th October, it promises to be a busy day of racing for punters and online bookmakers.

Comprising of a 10-race card, the action at Caulfield promises to be high-octane and frenetic and MyBettingAustralia is on hand to provide all of the latest tips and insight from Caulfield.

Race 3: Carini

The Herbert Power Stakes at Caulfield carries a decent A$300,000 prize pool and it is 4-year-old Carini that is catching the eye with most Aussie bookmakers.

With a 100% placing record and following a late surge to win at Flemington a month ago, Carini has forced its way into the reckoning in this one.

Having been rested last weekend in the Bart Cummins Stakes, Carini should be raring to go in this one and it should have too much in reserve for the field.

Tip: Carini to win the race @ $2.60 (TopSport).

Race 5: Asfoora

The group 2 Schillaci Stakes promises to be one of the highlights on a hectic card at Caulfield on Saturday and it is the Henry Dwyer trained Asfoora that looks to be the horse to beat.

Finishing 1st and 2nd in two outings this term, Asfoora looks to be a seriously quick horse and having a little more room for manoeuvre here over 1100 meters could do the trick.

Competition should be firm in the form of Uncommon James, but Asfoora is a classy operator that should be able to demonstrate that in this one.

Tip: Asfoora to win the race @ $2.30 (GetSetBet).

Race 10: Amelia’s Jewel

Closing the programme from Caulfield on Saturday is the group 1 Toorak Handicap, which has A$1 million in the prize pool – peaking the interest of many of the biggest Victorian bookmakers.

There are a fair few horses that come from serious yards in this one, with the likes of The Inevitable and Pinstriped possessing seriously strong records but Amelia’s Jewel looks to be the real deal.

With a career earning tally of almost $3 million, Amelia’s Jewel has consistently got the job done for connections and there is very little to suggest that she won’t do the same again here.

Tip: Amelia’s Jewel to win the race @ $2.20 (Bet365).
