Jadon Sancho rejoins Borussia Dortmund

As one of the most exciting young prospects in world football, Jadon Sancho arrived at Manchester United, as a 21-year-old with the world at his feet. 
 
Having produced some superb performances for Borussia Dortmund and then his native England, United felt they had secured a coup in acquiring Sancho for £73 million in the summer of 2021. 
 
With pace to burn and a deadly finishing streak, Sancho looked to be the perfect fit for a misfiring United side.

Whilst the actual departure of Jadon Sancho will end plenty of the speculation for Erik ten Hag and his side, the reality of the situation is that Sancho has not been involved at all in this EPL season. 
 
United are currently 8th in the Premier League, 9-points off the top 4 picture and with a real job on their hands if they are to be playing European football next season. 
 
With new owners circling Old Trafford too, Erik ten Hag will be all too aware that his job could be on the line over the next few months.
