Luton Town have more than held their own in the Premier League this season and their notoriety in the biggest league in the world has grown substantially with many online betting sites.

However, with this latest health issue, coming just over 6 months from his collapse on the field in the playoff final against Coventry City, question marks are present as to whether it is safe for the Welsh international to keep playing. 
 
First and foremost, for Lockyer however is a focus on improving his health, regardless of whether that enables him to play football again. 
 
What next for Luton Town? 

Despite being hugely unfancied at the start of the season by many EPL betting apps, Luton Town have been one of the stories of the campaign so far. 
 
Staying in the top flight may prove to be a bridge too far for the Hatters but they are punching above their weight under the stewardship of Rob Edwards.
