West Coast have won their last two AFL games

It has been a tough couple of seasons for the West Coast Eagles, who have been front and centre in the wooden spoon conversation.  
 
After amassing only three wins in the 2023 AFL campaign, inspiration was highly sought after. 
 
Whilst it has taken a while to come to the fore, it now appears to have arrived, in the form of teen sensation Harley Reid, who is putting bums on seats at the West Coast Eagles. 
 
Climbing away from the foot of the table will be their priority this season and the West Coast Eagles could even push on to be playoff outsiders in 2024 with many AFL betting sites.   

Remarkable Reid 

With his mop of blond hair bouncing around, Harley Reid is unmistakable on the AFL pitch, even before a ball is kicked. 
 
The 19-year-old has a real physical presence too and his industry and quality in midfield has been hugely important for the West Coast Eagles so far this season. 
 
With 5 goals scored in 6 games, Reid is more than justifying his first pick in the 2023 AFL draft and he looks to be the real deal.

There is never any love lost when two rivals go head-to-head and the prospect of the West Coast Eagles taking on Fremantle has been a relatively underwhelming one for the past couple of seasons. 
 
However, the 2024 edition of the Western Australia derby delivered plenty of drama and excitement, with Harley Reid at the heart of the West Coast operation. 
 
The Eagles prevailed by 105 points to 68 against Fremantle, much to the surprise of many AFL betting sites and their bid to avoid the wooden spoon really looks to be gaining momentum. it tough too, it could be a real battle to climb off the foot of the table in 2024.
