Big games are on the agenda this week in the AFL, with the GWS Giants and Carlton locking horns at the top of the table and North Melbourne and Hawthorn facing off in pursuit of their first win of the season. The GWS Giants meanwhile are sitting pretty at the top of the table and their recent performances have been full of confidence, vim and vigour and they will be bang up for this challenge. 

Calling the result here does look tough but unbeaten records do sometimes get smashed down in big games and Carlton could end up just about edging this one, hence their slight favouritism with many punters and AFL betting sites.

Two race to avoid the wooden spoon in the AFL in 2024 has already began and both North Melbourne and Hawthorn are two sides seriously in the conversation for last place.
