AFL Multi Bet of the Weekend

Week 4 of the AFL season pits another intriguing selection of fixtures out there for both punters and AFL betting sites and if there is anything to be gleaned from the first 3 weeks of the regular season, is that anything could plausibly happen.

Two unbeaten teams face off, as Carlton travel to Fremantle, Geelong hit the road again, this time at the Western Bulldogs, whilst Defending champions Collingwood are winless from their opening 3 games and they face a very tricky task on the road at Brisbane next, whilst the GWS Giants visit Gold Coast.

Fremantle vs Carlton

April 6th, 19:30, Optus Stadium

It has been a start to the campaign to remember for Fremantle and Carlton, two sides that have started the season in fine fettle, much to the surprise of many AFL punters and multi betting sites

Winning all three of their opening games has been a real step in the right direction for Fremantle, who are a side that are playing with plenty of confidence currently and who could be in the playoff mix.

Meanwhile, Carlton have picked up where they left off from last season and are starting to look like AFL Championship title contenders.

This will be a very good one, with Fremantle sure to be up for the fight but Carlton are a great side, and they should come out on top here.

Best Bet: Carlton to win the match - $1.73 (Bet365)

Western Bulldogs vs Geelong

April 6th, 19:20, Marvel Stadium

Another side with an unbeaten record to preserve in the AFL this term is Geelong, and they will want to mark their AFL title credentials here on the road at the Western Bulldogs.

The Bulldogs have been quietly going about their business this season and they are starting to look like a side that could at least challenge for a playoff place with many punters and AFL betting sites.

Geelong meanwhile are in imperious form, winning all three of their opening games and there appears to be a real sense of belief running throughout their squad at the moment.

This looks a very tough game to call, with both sides capable of turning on the style but Geelong are in great shape currently and they could come out on top here.

Best Bet: Geelong to win the match - $1.82 (GetSetBet)

Gold Coast vs GWS Giants

April 7th, 16:00, Heritage Bank Stadium

Two sides that took a breather last weekend face off here, as Gold Coast welcome the unbeaten GWS Giants to town, in a game that has piqued the interest of many punters and all AFL betting sites

A couple of wins from three games played isn’t going to pull up too many trees for Gold Coast this term but they look to be playing with more confidence in 2024 and a playoff challenge certainly seems to be within their remit.

For the GWS Giants however, sitting top of the table at this stage would have been their dream start to the campaign and they will want to stay top for as long as possible.

This should be a firecracker of a game and whilst Gold Coast will show fight at home, the GWS Giants should extend their winning streak here.

Best Bet: GWS Giants to win the match - $1.40 (Unibet)
