Fremantle were not expected to pull up too many trees this season, but they have started the campaign in fine fettle.

An assertive win over Adelaide last time out has many AFL betting sites putting Fremantle forward as a side that could challenge for playoff places at least this season.

Super Start

Whilst Fremantle are not on their own as the only team to have a 100% record so far this term, the manner of their opening day win could well be the catalyst.

Facing off against Brisbane in their opener was always going to be a tall order but they stood up to the task, clinching a 93-70 home win.

It was their first home win since June 2023, and they look to have grown in confidence ever since.

Big games to come

Wins over North Melbourne and Adelaide have been impressive over the past two weeks, and they have moved Fremantle into a position from which they can challenge for AFL glory with many betting sites

Next up is a very tricky looking tie against Carlton, before a meeting with Port Adelaide, two games that could shape the season ahead for Fremantle.

Plenty of other candidates

The infancy of the 2024 season is underlined by the fact that there are currently 4 teams in the competition that are still unbeaten.

Sitting at the top of the table are the GWS Giants, a side that look to have all the raw materials for AFL glory with many betting apps.

In addition, Geelong and Carlton are also yet to taste defeat this term, adding to the number of quality sides in contention for AFL glory in 2024.
